Your Neighborhood Market
The East Asheville Tailgate Market was started in 2007 in the parking lot of Groce United Methodist Church. Previously known as the Riceville Tailgate Market in Swannanoa, it has transformed and grown into a collection of vendors with an eclectic array of products. We accept SNAP & EBT as well as Double SNAP & EBT for fresh fruits and vegetables. We are proud members of the Fruits & Vegetables Prescription Program.
Running during from April through November, you can find us every Friday from 3-6pm at 954 Tunnel Rd and from 2:30 - 5:30pm during our November markets. Stop by for some amazing local goods from your favorite neighborhood vendors selling tamales, dumplings, baked goods, ferments, bread, artisan cheese, meat, flowers, farm fresh vegetables, and more! We’ll see you soon at Asheville’s only Friday market!
Anna Zurliene - Market Manager
